Notoriety won’t stop you from getting a table at Omar at Vaucluse on the Upper East Side. It might even help.
Michael Cohen — the Trump lawyer raided by the FBI last week — was there with his wife, Laura, and friends on Friday night near the table where the disgraced Matt Lauer dined with sporting-goods king Mitch Modell.[1][2][3]
“Cohen was in a good mood. Almost the whole room came over to say hello to him, like he was a star,” owner Omar Hernandez told me.
Also in the house were model Alex Lundqvist, who was celebrating his birthday with Camilla Olsson and actress Ida Lundgren, the impeccable blond daughter of Dolph Lundgren.
Lauer is said to be testing the waters for a public comeback by coming out of hiding from his Hamptons home. With his marriage to Annette Roque now over, he’s ready to restart his life, pals say.
Cohen and Lauer just missed Lee Radziwill, who dined early with Cinema Society czar Andrew Saffir and his partner, designer Daniel Benedict.
