Steve Croman — the “Bernie Madoff of landlords,” according to the prosecutor who put him in jail — will celebrate his freedom next month in the Greek islands.

Croman started serving a one-year sentence last October for mortgage fraud. But he is getting out soon with time off for good behavior.

Although Croman paid $8 million in restitution to tenants he harassed and forced out and a $5 million fine, he seems to have plenty left.

“His wife, Harriet, is planning a big welcome-home party in Greece. Lots of friends from New York are flying there,” once source said. A Croman insider said it’s a small family gathering.

A spokesman for Croman had no comment.
