Celebs on both coasts are fund-raising for a ‘blue wave’ on Election Day.

I’m told that on Oct. 1 at Gotham Comedy Club, Alec Baldwin[1] and Kurt Andersen, co-authors of the Trump memoir parody[2] “You Can’t Spell America Without Me,” will join a lineup of comics including Michelle Wolf, whose Netflix show was canceled in August.

Proceeds from the event, “Democracy, Amirite?,” go to the People PAC’s efforts to flip six crucial state legislatures.

The East Coast crowd won’t be as star-studded as the guests at the LA house of TV producer Marcy Carsey on Sept. 24 for a fund-raiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Organized by Dreamworks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, the event is expected to draw Barbra Streisand[3] and Steven Spielberg[4].

And Jimmy Kimmel will emcee an event with LA Mayor Eric Garcetti aimed at raising $1 million, “or $100,000 for each of 10 state Democratic party organizations,” Variety reports.[5][6]
