Gilbert Gottfried[1] has a thing for Ruth Bader Ginsburg[2] — at least in his stand-up act.
As a guest of producer Ray Ellin’s on Comedy Central’s “This Week at the Comedy Cellar,” the comic started by roasting the 85-year-old US Supreme Court justice on her age. “She’s been in the legal field for many years, since her first case, Anthony v. Cleopatra.”
RBG recently fractured some ribs[3], so Gottfried said, “The good news is Ruth is now back at work on the Supreme Court. However, it will be another few months before she’s back at her side job at FlashDancers in Times Square.”
The crowd — including an off-camera Louis C.K. — went wild, so Gottfried escalated to an outrageous and filthy impression of Ginsburg calling to her Latin lover after falling in her office.
The episode will air Friday at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
