Tory Burch[1] is getting married this weekend.
The fashion designer will wed Pierre-Yves Roussel, the French-born special adviser to LVMH group, which includes such fashion brands as Celine, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.
The nuptials are taking place in Antigua, where Burch bought and restored the estate of the late Bunny Mellon.
Dozens of New Yorkers have been gassing up their jets or chartering flights to the Caribbean island.
The guest list is said to have included fellow designers Dennis Basso and Michael Kors, plus socialites Gigi Mortimer, Renee Rockefeller and Jamie Tisch.
Wyclef Jean is rumored to be entertaining.
A spokeswoman for Burch, who has posted photos of herself with her ginormous diamond engagement ring, told me, “Tory’s wedding is a private intimate event with no press coverage.”
Burch, who has three sons with venture capitalist Chris Burch,[2] dated bicycling legend Lance Armstrong and record mogul Lyor Cohen, before hooking up with Roussel in 2014.
Roussel also has three children from his first marriage, which fell apart at about the time he met Burch.
The two announced their engagement in January 2016.
