A Belgian man obsessed with fashion model and YouTube star Jessica Clements sent her hundreds of Instagram messages and then flew to New York to meet her in-person, according to police.

Sulaj Izak, 40, was arrested and charged with stalking after he sent Clements, 25, a photo of himself standing in the lobby of a Midtown apartment building where she used to live.

Clements’ manager, Max Hirsch, contacted Izak and told him “to leave her alone and not contact her in any way,” the complaint says. Izak replied, “telling him in substance, ‘You’re a dead man,’ and ‘I’ll f–k you up.’”

The model’s lawyer Sal Strazzullo told me the scariest part is that Izak was able to figure out where she had lived by matching images from her YouTube videos to buildings on Google Earth.

“She moved because of him, but he didn’t know that,” Strazzullo said. “He turned up at her old building. The doorman was on top of things and called police.”

Since Clements was out of town and Izak didn’t physically confront her, the charge is a misdemeanor and the Belgian man was released on his own recognizance. An order of protection bars him from approaching or contacting the 5-foot-10 brunette again.

Clements, who grew up near Boston and is repped by New York Model Management, has a huge social media following with her vlogs[1] on hair, fashion and beauty tips.

She dated YouTube star Erik Conover for four years until 2016. But she revealed last summer she was unattached, and said, “I’m a little bit scared of dating at the moment.”
